Shipping & Delivery
Thank you for visiting and supporting Jane Hutchinson Art. I take the utmost care in packaging and delivering my original artwork and prints to ensure they arrive safely at your door.
1. Delivery Destinations
- UK Shipping Only: I ship exclusively to addresses within the United Kingdom (including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).
- International Orders: I do not offer international shipping at this time.
2. Processing & Dispatch Times
Every piece of art is carefully prepared and securely packed by hand at my studio.
- Original Artwork: Please allow 3–5 business days for your order to be processed, safely crated or packed, and dispatched.
- Prints & Open Editions: Standard order processing takes 2–4 business days.
- Delays: If there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order (due to exhibition schedules or paint drying times), I will contact you immediately via email.
3. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout via my WooCommerce system.
- Standard Delivery: Delivery typically takes 2–4 business days from the date of dispatch.
- Courier Services: I use trusted UK couriers (such as Royal Mail, DHL, or Parcelforce) depending on the size and weight of the artwork.
- Tracking: A tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your artwork is dispatched so you can follow its journey.

4. Packaging
- Prints: Shipped flat in heavy-duty cardboard envelopes or safely rolled in sturdy tubes to prevent creasing.
- Original Paintings: Wrapped securely in protective layers, padded with bubble wrap, and boxed in heavy-duty double-walled cardboard or custom wooden crates to prevent movement or damage during transit.
5. Damages & Loss
Your artwork is fully insured during transit.
- Damaged Items: In the unlikely event that your artwork arrives damaged, please take photos of the packaging and the damage immediately. Contact me at janehutchinsonartist@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery so I can investigate and resolve the issue for you.
